	Brisbane wedding cake. Ian and Simone - May 2007 Jackie, Ian and I would like to extend our gratitude and thanks for our wonderful wedding cake that you made for our wedding on the 19th May 2007. Our colour scheme was silk white, silver and apricot for the reception and silk white, mocha and apricot for the ceremony. My husband and I gave you an idea of what we would like for our wedding cake and what we imagined we received. Everyone at our reception commented on how elegant the cake looked and the taste of the bottom two tiers being chocolate mud cake and white chocolate mud cake. We have kept the top tier being fruit cake for our first wedding anniversary. We were very grateful that we did not have to have meeting upon meeting with you for my cake to be perfect, especially when there are so many other things to finalise for your wedding day, you understood our ideas immediately. I would highly recommend your work to future brides or anyone needing a cake for any special event and we will certainly be using you for a christening cake when our first baby is due in May.

	Brisbane wedding cake.Karen and Matt Dear Jackie, Matthew and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you just how thrilled we were with the Wedding Cake you designed for our November nuptials. At our first meeting I only had a very rough idea of what I wanted my Wedding Cake to look like. After browsing through your website and viewing photographs in your studio we were able to put together the perfect design. I only wanted a simple cake as I decided the Bride & Groom figurines were going to be the standout feature. After all of the choosing and planning, we have to say Jackie that your "creation" well and truly exceeded our expectations. The handmade figurines were absolutely exquisite. I couldn't believe the attention to detail that went into matching the beading on my dress, the veil, my hairstyle, the colour of the flowers, and even the Groom's tie so perfectly! They were truly mini replica's.. and have become an ornamental keepsake among Wedding Photo's we have on display. The cake itself was exquisite, elegant and simple with subtle features just as we'd hoped. Our choices of Coffee & Walnut, Chocolate Mud and Fruit Cake from the array of options availabe went down a treat. Even the most Senior (and toughest) critics at our reception commented that it was the best Fruit Cake they had ever tasted. I know it sounds as if I'm raving, but we honestly believe that credit should be paid where it is well and truly due. Your service was fantastic, your communication brilliant and the product itself unbeatable. Thank-you Jackie so much not only for providing us with the truly perfect Wedding Cake, but for being such a wonderful person to deal with. 	Brisbane celebration cake.John's 60th - December 2007 Dear Jackie, I managed to keep the cake a secret from everyone - so when I brought the cake out and John was called over and saw the cake, he had a huge grin on his face and didn't blush, he knew instantly what it was. "A female’s buttocks, with a lace g-string and black with red ribbon French garters." The party guest were overwhelmed with laughter and thought it was just fantastic. Questions came from all directions about the cake, unexpectedly surprised that I could instigate such an idea. Thank so much Jackie for your superb expertise in designing a terrific cake. It was very much appreciate and definitely a highlight of the evening. If you're after something a little bit different, you cannot go past Contemporary Cakes. 	Appletree Grove. Gifts, homewares and more. (Adjacent to The Coffee Club Spring wood) I have used Jackie/s services of Contemporary cakes and Catering several times over the last year. Firstly was in November 2007 when I launched my stores Christmas products and invited customers to browse my Christmas range of gifts and products with a few nibbles and glass of bubbly. Jackie provided tapas mini chicken and asparagus pastries, filo tarts with red onion marmalade and brie , avocado pate with bruschettas. Mini chocolate muds and strawberry tarts. All very delicious by the way! Jackie also advertised her Christmas cakes , Lemon meringue pies and banoffee pie, pecan pies and sherry trifles. She took orders at the store and my customers have said how delicious they all were. My husband’s birthday was also catered for and Jackie delivered and set it up at my home and loaned me her lovely china and dishes. Honey glazed ham, beautiful Lasagne and a filo pastry brie, capsicum and pesto tart, mixed leaf salad and her great tasting coleslaw. A lemon meringue pie finished the banquet! Jackie has also made my granddaughter birthday cake ,which we held at Daisy Koala Centre and we had to have a Banoffee pie (for the grown ups !) I recommend Contemporary cakes and Catering as Jackie produces quality tasting food and Cakes. Rosemary Swindells.

	Brisbane birthday cake.This crate champagne cake was all made with cake. The grapes and vine leaves were made from sugar paste. Sugar paste was draped to represent tissue paper and a real bottle of champagne was placed on top with a personalised photograph label. Hi Jackie The party was a huge success. 	Brisbane wedding cake. I found Contemporary Cakes on the website through Weddings, Christenings and Anything Bridal Store . After visiting their website I was amazed by the attention to detail in each and every cake. Then I saw one cake with shark toppers and knew that finally someone would be able to make my dream wedding cake with dolphin toppers. After meeting with Jackie I knew I would be getting a tailor made cake right down to the chubby little belly on the dolphin groom. When we arrived at our reception venue everyone was commenting on our cake and complete strangers were asking to go in and have a look. All I can say is WOW about that cake... We loved it and it was perfect (tasted great too). It definitely was a difficult design that we wanted, that we gave you. We had previously walked into other cake makers businesses who said it was too difficult to make and couldn‘t even sit down and assist us. I found you via google and looked through your website before emailing you. It was really important that we got this cake design, as this was based on the first video game the we ever played together (as David is into video games). You made the process run smoothly for us via email, which worked perfectly, due to the busy schedules that David and I had with work, wedding and other commitments. On the wedding day you delivered our cake which relieved some of the stress on the day by you delivering it. We like the fact that you took the time to see your son play Mario cart to get other ideas for our cake. The cake itself was a major focus for our guests and reception staff, everyone was amazed and the chef and staff said it was the best they have ever seen at one of their functions and the staff even took photos. The cake was fully detailed and it was more than perfect, we ourselves were blown away after seeing the cake.
